Today, I'm taking a break from the Formula X Color Curators posts to remind you that Formula X has a boatload of glorious nail polish colours. The Formula X Nail Polishes in TGIF and Decadent ($13 CAD each) landed in my mail box a few months ago, so I thought I'd swatch them on the blog.
For the most part, Formula X polishes are fantabulous (I've tried at least 25 shades). The cream polish formula is highly pigmented, not too thick (or too thin), long-wearing, super shiny (even without a top coat) and don't stain the nails.
The Formula X Nail Polish in TGIF is a cream-finish medium peachy pink. It's the kind of polish that I'm always sporting during the Spring/Summer months. Definitely my favourite out of the two in this post. This was released earlier this year and is still available on the Sephora website.
The Formula X Nail Polish in Decadent is a dark chocolate brown, which translates into more of a black on the nails. Only in the harshest of sunlight would you notice that there's the slightest hint of brown. This was from the Fall 2015 collection, so I'm not sure how it ended up on my beauty desk. Regardless, if you're looking for a black (that actually isn't), this is a great option (if you can find it on the Sephora website).
Do you like Formula X? Which one of these do you prefer?
