#MANIMONDAY - Year of the Monkey Nail Art

Happy Chinese New Year! In celebration of the Year of the Monkey, I went a little bananas on my nails. Red symbolizes good fortune and joy, while yellow signifies neutrality and good luck. Paired together, red and yellow make for some prosperous nail art. 

I freehanded the bananas with the tip of a pen dipped in yellow polish, outlining everything with a black nail art striper. For the monkey, I used primarily the long edge of the brush to create curves and a dotting tool for the eyes and ears.
