LUSH the Comforter Shower Cream

Dubbed "a cuddle in a bottle", the LUSH the Comforter shower cream ($9.95/100mL) has a sweet, warm enveloping scent that's supposed to be like cuddles from someone you love.

Similar to LUSH's the Comforter Bubble Bar, the Comforter shower cream contains bergamot and black currant. The scent is spot on the same, though the shower cream is a little more potent. The shower cream also contains fair trade vanilla, which when mixed with the black currant has a sweet, bubble gum-like scent. The scent doesn't last long on my body but it does leave my shower smelling pretty. That being said, the scent is too vanilla and sweet for me and I prefer more tangy, citrusy body products.

Unlike a shower gel, LUSH's shower creams are more liquid in consistency, which makes for a softer lather. I find myself using a larger handful of product than I usually would with more lathery shower products.

On another note, the Comforter is a fabulous warm pink with tiny bits of sparkle. Not to fear, the sparkles wash away and you will not look like a unicorn pooped on you after you get out of the shower.

All in all, I really enjoy the runny texture and moisturizing lather.

...and the best part? The bottle has a sense of humour.

But really and truly, nothing can beat a good cuddle like an actual cuddle. While I can safely say that my boyfriend does not smell quite as sweet as the Comforter, he is equally if not more as cuddly. Maybe he'll cuddle me more if I wash my bod with the Comforter?

Do you like cuddles? Have you tried Lush's the Comforter?
