I know, I know... I'm late to the L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara ($11.99) party. I didn't even think of trying it until my boyfriend bought it for me (so sweet of him to help me indulge in my beauty lemmings). So... when your boyfriend buys you a mascara, you wear it.
The L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara features a slightly cone shaped wand that bends 360. The floppy wand is a little finicky to work with at first but once you get the hang of it, the flexibility of the wand is super helpful in building volume at the base of the lashes.

Why can't you pick up on how great this mascara looks on my lashes?

Firstly, I apologize for my naked eyebrows. Secondly, I apologize for the fact that I was unable to capture what the L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara does for my lashes. I guess on camera it's a "natural" mascara. In person, Something about the formula makes my lashes look super wispy and thick (especially at the base of the lashes). PLEASE trust me on this. It's good stuff.
In summary.. Does it lengthen? Yes. Does it volumize? Somewhat. Does it clump? After many, many coats. Does it smudge? After 7 hours on a hot day. Does it droop? Nope.
You know it's time to say goodbye to a mascara when it's so dry that it starts flaking while you apply it. I've been wearing the L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara for 6 months and I don't want to say goodbye. Which means I'll be picking up a shiny, new tube in the very near future.
