Summer is soon to be over. Not looking forward to saying goodbye to my tan. Good thing there's bronzer to tie my bronze-y glow over through the winter until next year. Essence just launched the Sun Club Shimmering Bronzing Powders ($3.99), which for one, smell AMAZING (like the beach or a really nice sunscreen) and two, have a 3D provocative beach babe embossed into them.
There are two shades of the Essence Sun Club Shimmering Bronzing Powders available - 30 sunloved, which is geared towards lighter skin and 20 suntanned, which is meant to be for brunettes/darker skin types. Both shades were surprisingly finely milled, something I don't usually expect from a drugstore bronzing product (the texture of the Essence bronzer gives the Rimmel and NYC bronzers a run for their money). suntanned is slightly warmer than sunloved and both have a very soft golden shimmer, which is undetectable when applied to the face.
The blends so effortlessly into the skin (*like a dream*) and lasts on my skin for 5-6 hours.
Above, I'm wearing 30 sunloved, which is a good shade match for my particular colouring. However, if you're super pale, this will definitely be too orangey for you. I find 20 suntanned (for darker skin) too orange for me, but you'll like this if you're a little more tan.
