NEW IN: Lush Fresh Face Masks in Don't Look at Me & Rosy Cheeks

"Multi-masking"is all the rage, so I thought I'd do a little multi-masking with a couple new goodies from Lush. On my cheeks and nose, I'm wearing Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask ($12.95 / 60g) and on the rest of my face I'm wearing Don't Look at Me Fresh Face Mask ($10.95 / 60g) 

Don't Look at Me is meant to be a rejuvenating, brightening mask - lemon juice to cleanse, ground rice to scrub and brighten, and murumuru butter to moisturize. The lemon juice combined with the neroli oil and grapefruit oil give mask a slightly citrusy, awakening scent. 

Upon scooping the blue goop into my hands, the consistency was surprisingly thin. I had no problems spreading it over my face and the rice granules didn't feel scratchy, just slightly exfoliating. After removing the mask, my skin felt soft and moisturized. No need for extra lotion before going to sleep as the murmuru oil left a bit of hydration on my face.

Rose lovers rejoice because this one's for you. Rosy Cheeks is a kaolin (clay) based face mask that smells like a garden of fresh roses. 

It's quite a thick clay mask that feels slightly cooling when applied and dries fully in about 10 minutes. My mom used to use calamine lotion to treat itchy bug bites, so it's no surprise that the calamine in the Fresh Face Mask is extra calming. I'll be using this one when my skin's feeling irritated.
