Wet N Wild says their new liquid lipsticks are weightless, glide on like a gloss and dry down to an ultra-matte finish that hugs every contour, provides intense pigmentation without drying the lips and contains macadamia derivative to provide moisture and Vitamin E to improve the appearance of texture.
There are 13 shades of the Wet N Wild Catsuit Matte Lipsticks available: 920B Nudie Patootie, 921B Nudist Peach, 922B Coral Corruption, 923B Pink Really Hard, 924B Rebel Rose, 925B Give Me Mocha, 926B Berry Recognize, 927B Nice to Fuchsia, 928B Oh My Dolly, 929B Flame of the Game, 930B Missy and Fierce, 931B Video Vixen, 932B Goth Topic.
On application, the Catsuit Liquid Lipsticks are smooth and glide over the lips fairly evenly. The lighter shades are opaque in one coat while, the darker Video Vixen requires a couple layers. The wear time is very impressive. It's 100% kiss-proof and if you're not eating anything too greasy, the liquid lipstick will last until you take it off. It doesn't feel particularly comfortable but it looks just fine.
The Wet N Wild Catsuit Matte Lipstick in 923B Pink Really Hard is a pale petal pink. It's not my colour but it does apply with intense pigmentation (one swipe), as promised.
The Wet N Wild Catsuit Matte Lipstick in 924 Rebel Rose is a cool rose. This is a very trendy neutral tone and I predict that it will be a very popular one among most light/medium skin tones. Again, it applies evenly and in one swipe over the lips.
The Wet N Wild Catsuit Lipstick in 931B Video Vixen is a red wine. It's gorgeously vampy but as expected with deeper shades of liquid lipstick, this one is patchy and requires two layers for full opacity.
All in all, if you don't like liquid lipsticks because they feel uncomfortable, these probably aren't for you. That being said, if you're a lover of liquid lipsticks then definitely seek these out the next time you're at the drugstore because they are (1) long lasting and (2) beyond affordable.
