If you didn't already know, Make Up For Ever's Aqua collection is amazing - waterproof eye and lip products in a whole lot of colours! Now, they're extending the range with 5 new Aqua Matic shadow pencils and two new Aqua Rouge lip colours.

My thoughts on the Make Up For Ever Aqua Matics in M-11 Matte Black and D-21 Diamond Turquoise are not much different from my previous review of ME-10 Metallic Golden Taupe. Upon application, there's a 20 second wind for blending. After that, the product is locked in place and won't move until at least 8 hours later (or 5 underwater according to MUFE). Both the matte, diamond and metallic finishes are smooth and easy to apply. M-11 Matte Black is super versatile and can be used on its own as a shadow or liner (there's a handy sharpener attached to the bottom of the twist-up pencil) or as a base to make colours pop. I can't say the same about D-21 Diamond Turquoise in terms of versatility because it's not quite as "neutral" as the black but it's a very pretty summer shade.
The Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge lip colour in #21 Cool Candy Pink ($29) is my first experience with the product. While I think the colour is a little too Nikki Manaj for my tastes, the product lasts forever and ever and ever and is a total poop to remove. It can be worn matte or with the included gloss for a lacquered finish. The colour on its own looks a little dry and I have to wear lip liner underneath. With or without the gloss, it's kiss-proof, transfer-proof and could be worn for more than 12 hours. #23 Apricot Pink is a pale orange, also not for me, but I would totally go for a shade that suits me better. On a side note, these remind me a lot of the Rimmel Provacalips but the MUFE version smells nicer.
I already knew I liked the Make Up For Ever Aqua Collection. And a few more colour options never hurt anyone.
