A few weeks ago, I covered the k-beauty inspired makeup from the Kye for Shu Uemura Collection. Today, an overview of all things Art of Hair from the collaboration!
The Kye for Shu Art of Hair Collection includes three conditioners - the Kye for Shu Uemura Color Lustre Conditioner, Kye for Shu Uemura Ultimate Remedy Conditioner and Kye for Shu Uemura Moisture Velvet Conditioner ($56 CAD each).
The packaging has so much WOW factor. The patterned bottles are cute but classically Shu Uemura with a handy dandy pump and semi-opaque plastic (so I can see how much product I have left!). To be honest, after I'm done the conditioners, I'll probably refill them with soap. I don't want these limited edition pieces to go to waste.
The red, green and orange packaging of the conditioners is fun but at a glance, the product names aren't quite obvious enough to differentiate the three products.
Kye for Shu Uemura Color Lustre Conditioner (red bottle - $56 CAD)
For vibrancy and illumination. This conditioner is meant for colour treated hair (gals like me) who want to detangle, while adding shine. Noteworthy ingredients include musk rose oil and goji berry extract.

Kye for Shu Uemura Ultimate Remedy Conditioner (green bottle - $56 CAD)
For repair, nourishing and detangling. This for those with fine hair who want extreme nourishing and detangling. Noteworthy ingredients include ceramide (keratin) and lotus.

Kye for Shu Uemura Moisture Velvet Conditioner (orange bottle - $56 CAD)
For nourishing. This one is meant to rebalance the moisture of the hair. Noteworthy ingredients include camellia oil.
I used each of the conditioners for about a week. To be honest, it's difficult to tell the difference between these. The Ultimate Remedy felt the most deeply moisturizing, so much so that I needed to avoid putting it close to my scalp because if used in excess it makes my hair a little oily looking. The moisturizing quality was between your typical conditioner and a hair mask.
The Moisture Velvet and Color Lustre conditioners felt similar in my hair. They were also great for detangling and moisturizing but a little lighter feeling than the Ultimate Remedy. Also, I didn't notice any difference in the vibrancy of my hair with the Color Lustre Conditioner.
I'm indifferent between all three as they perform similarly, though I would recommend the Ultimate Remedy Conditioner if you're looking for ultra hydration. All in all, these conditioners are stellar and the packaging is on point (as I would expect for something that's over the $50 mark).
