Lately, I've been scrub a dub dub dubbing with the Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator ($30.35 via FeelUnique).
Antipodes is an organic, natural skincare line featuring ingredients from New Zealand. I'm in love with their ethos - recyclable packaging, local manufacturing, sustainably sourced ingredients. Let's not forget the fact that, their products look pretty darn cute in a flat lay.
I had been eyeing the Antipodes brand for a while but always unsure of what to pick up. The cult favourite Aura Manuka Honey Mask is popular but not suited for my skin type. I had been using chemical exfoliators for a while and thought I would switch it up with a physical exfoliating product.
The Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator a whipped-feeling, creamy base of avocado oil, calendula oil, sandalwood, sweet orange and tonka bean. At first, I wasn't a fan of the naturally scented product but it grew on me. I can pick up on the orange, which gives the product a very subtle citrus scent.
The product spreads easily, so a penny-sized amount is enough for my entire face. Suspended in the cream is jojoba beats. I wouldn't say that the product is packed with jojoba beads. It's just enough to give a decent scrub. They're not scratchy or overly abrasive and get the job of schluffing off dead skin done.
I like to use the Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator in the nighttime as a second cleansing after removing my makeup. It spreads over the face best on moist skin and washes away easily with water.
One of my favourite feelings is the one that I get after using the Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator. The product leaves no residue and my skin feels fresh and new.
