Tinted brows and bold liner made wearable...
K-beauty (Korean beauty) trends and products are always something that will be on my radar because they're so different from North American technologies and beauty standards (though Sephora seems to be catching onto the K-beauty train). In my mind, the Kye for Shu collection is an "east meets west" sort of deal - an easily accessible brand available in North America in collaboration with a popular Korean designer.
Two looks were created for the Kye for Shu collection - the Glamorous Kute and the Exotic Kool. Since I wanted to tint my brows purple, I opted for the Glamorous Kute look! The original look features a much more blended pink/black liner but I went for something a little more subtle because I felt like it suited my eye shape better.
ON THE EYES: The Kye for Shu Uemura Drawing Pencil in M black around the edges of the eyes in a circular shape. Then, the Drawing Pencil in ME pink 12 blended in above the black for a pop of colour.
ON THE BROWS: The Kye for Shu Uemura brow:palette in seal brown x stone grey to fill the brows in, then the eyebrow manicure in Dark Rose to add a subtle purple tint.
ON THE FACE: I didn't have any of the face products (beautifully packaged cushion foundation and blusher), I just stuck with some of my go-to favourites - the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation for foundation, topped with the Too Faced Love Flush Blush in I Will Always Love You for an orangey flush and the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Oh Darling for a metallic glow.
ON THE LIPS: The Kye for Shu Uemura Sheer Color Balm in Melt in Orange for a wash of neon orange.

Random and very unrelated to this post... how cute is this mini camera? It's actually functional and takes both photo and video though the quality is terrible (2MP). It also seconds as a USB key!
What do you think of my purple-tinted brows? Can you tell that they're coloured?
