Another one. Another neutral eyeshadow palette. This trend is a little tired but whatevs, every gal needs a basic neutral eyeshadow palette. The Mary Kay Natural Essentials Set (Mineral Eye Colour Bundle + Rose Gold Compact) is just that.
First up, the compact. The shiny plastic is calling out for fingerprints to make it icky. Regardless, the rose gold plastic is pretty, as is the "drop in the water" effect. However, I feel like the rhinestone makes it tacky which is unfortunate.
Swatches: Mary Kay Mineral Eye Colours in Sweet Cream, Spun Silk, Moonstone, Rosegold, Driftwood and Espresso.
There are six eyeshadows included in the bundle - Sweet Cream (matte bone), Spun Silk (shimmering champagne), Moonstone (shimmering white gold), Rosegold (self-explanatory), Driftwood (dark brown) and Espresso (blackened brown).
I'm usually head over heels for Mary Kay Mineral Eye Colours. Spun Silk and Moonstone weren't quite as amazing as I thought they'd be compared to other shadows from the line that I'd tried. Rosegold is STUNNING and feels like butter. Driftwood and Espresso are decent but not the best, softest mattes ever. Minor disappointments here and there but Rosegold really stands out.

Is it worth it? $22 is a great price for 6 shadows. For the $54, the compact is WAY overpriced. To be honest, there's no deal for the bundle. For $76, I can buy a lot of things. Maybe an Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette or a month of groceries.
