Another not so great month in empties... but a finished product is a finished product.
I'll have to work on my emptying prowess for next month.
Here's my rating scale:
(>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ // worthy of dance party (repurchase)
^u^ ^u^ // pretty great (maybe repurchase)
-_- // indifference (will not repurchase)
I picked up the Amika Dry Shampoo (>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ at a CBB swap. It reminded me a lot of the CO:LAB Dry Shampoos*, in that it had no white cast, was lightly scented, didn't make my hair feel gritty and provided a slight bit of volume. Too bad I can't find where to buy it in Canada!
The Province Apothecary Parfum Botanique No. 30* ^u^ ^u^ smelled like a delicious hippie (clary sage, bulgarian rose, canadian black spruce, vetiver root). Dabbing No. 30 in my hair and on my wrists, the teeny tiny sample lasted forever (aka 2 months).
I was not a fan of the Amie Facial Cleansing Wipes*-_-. Despite the "gentle"/naturally kind claims, I found the wipes to sting my skin.
The Guerlain Cils D'enfer Volume Creating Curl Sculpting Mascara in Marine* (>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ worked wonders for my lashes. It's one of the only mascaras that makes my bottom lashes look lengthy and doll-like. Plus, it has a pretty blue tinge and it doesn't smudge!
The Annabelle Eye Makeup Remover (>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ and Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Solution (>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ are both staples in my makeup-removing regimen. Would highly recommend either or both!
As discussed in my One in One Out Skincare post, I really enjoyed the Miracle 10 Skincare Line* ^u^ ^u^. It took me about 6 months to go through the Solution I (toner) and Cleanser II. Both were suitable for my oily/acne prone skin and didn't make my skin feel tight or dry.
